A friend is debating between Project Leader year 2 at BCG vs Sr Director 2 at EYP (I think strategy). Roles are in NAMR. Both focused towards PE work. We know EYP position and comp is significantly higher but how should we think about choosing which offer to take? The candidate wants to exit consulting in ~3 years for a PE potentially. What compensation should he negotiate - both firms have asked him expectation?

Has anyone left big 4 or other PA firms tax transaction service groups for industry (or know of anyone)?
