I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

I switched to tcs few months back ,here project manager told me that work will be in Angular but when I got into the project it was only html,css and jQuery. now how can i change my project as current one is not going along with my aspirations. MBA (Finance) grad Skills: SQL, Excel, Power BI, Client Issues, Jira for bug reports and tracking team activities, etc.
Any companies that anyone can suggest? Any other skills that I should pick up? Current base pay is 10 LPA. I feel a bit underpaid.

Your friend has to realize that who she chooses to work with reflects her character
M3, the problem is that this isn’t our culture. We walk the walk on diversity and helping people have lives outside the office and it’s not okay for partners to not walk the walk. Anyone who even hints at creating an environment like this has not been paying attention to our senior partners for the past 10 years and needs to be reminded of our values
Unacceptable - send a message to HR or Ethics immediately.
Do you know a more senior partner? Go above this dumb ass partners head, have the sr. Partner hand the jr. partner their ass and stay out of the middle.
Unethical and illegal. Grounds for termination and lawsuit.
Retaliation is taken seriously, and would/should result in another report to ethics/HR. What this partner is doing is completely unacceptable.
That is completely unacceptable to give someone a hard time over parental leave.

THIS is why this firm has gone to shit. That’s utterly ridiculous. Report them to HR.
Wait, are they making it hard to go on leave or saying they may not have a role to come back to after leave? Those are two very different things.

Yes, M2. It is not ridiculous to say that you won’t have the same role on the same project when you come back from leave. You have every right to take leave, your job with the firm is protected as is your standing with the firm. Your client facing project role is not and it’s a little naive to think that it should be. Clients pay for results, they don’t have to observe our HR policies, only the written SOW. Partner doesn’t have to be a jerk about it but is acting in the best interest of the client and engagement which is correct from a service delivery standpoint.
My entire leadership told me to take the full 6weeks to hang with wife and son. It’s an amazing time and benefit. Should just take it and not bother with this crap. If it’s held against you it’ll come through negatively for them. You need to deliver great stuff though after
Wife is due early March, director informed me that 6 weeks would put me out the final 6 weeks before CRT and decisions are often made with a “what have you done for me recently” mentality. Brought up to partner and they agreed with director. Looks like I’m doing the 3 week option and using any downtime to update the resume.
