Hi everyone Google ,
I am facing interview trouble.
1. First round of interview has done
2. 2nd was scheduled on 1 july but interviewer did not join. After a few mails to hr and recruitment team one hr replied that they will reschedule it, and asked me for possible dates.
Since then i am waiting for the interview schedule as all of my given dates have been passed. I don't know how to deal with it as I don't want to miss the opportunity.

Yup, she can present you to an agency. I'd let them both know. To the ECD, say something like, "Oh hey btw I got contacted by so-and-so recruiter about a position at your agency and sent in an application! Keep an eye out for it." and to the recruiter say, "I actually know so-and-so ECD there! I told them to keep a lookout for my application."
I once had a recruiter present me to a close friend from college (who I also maybe kissed once?)
Needless to say, I got the job, but it would have cost the agency far less if they’d have reached out directly.
Play the game.
Every scenario is different but if I was the ecd and we were acquainted and they presented you and I thought you were right, I’d be thrilled. In fact, it would make me want to hire you more bc I get the reassurance of them also tho king you’d be good for the job.
I agree with the person who said tell the recruiter you know this ecd a bit. And if you have the relationship to the ecd, reach and say you just got contacted about their role.
Maybe tell the recruiter this. They can tell the ECD ahead of time. That is unless you and the ECD are old drinking buddies or something. Then of course use your inside track to let them know and set them up in the headspace to hire you.
To add to this, if you have spoken with a recruiter about this job and the agency hires you then the recruiter will demand a commission / payment from said agency regardless if you do everything on your own. In other words, ghosting the recruiter and not involving them in the process won’t necessarily help you at all, but you can certainly back channel on your own behalf to improve whether you get picked. Just keep the recruiter in the loop
If the recruiter knew this would probably drop you like a hot brick. The agency won’t pay recruiter fees if they already know the candidate. In the interest of staying in good graces with your recruiter you might want to be transparent about your existing r ship with the ECD?
