About to get an offer for a new job but really enjoy working with my boss and my client. Performance reviews start next week and I don’t want to ask my client for feedback just to tell them I’m leaving the week after. Any advice on how to proceed with telling my client and boss?

I have a terrible voice that fluctuates between sounding confident to flat toned and then using fillers while I’m thinking, i.e., uh um. Does anyone have tips to improve my communication skills so I sound more polished? Things that have worked for you? I feel I’ve performed poorly in interviews because I hem and haw too much. So annoyed with myself.

Director of Marketing wants me to write some conversation snippets for a chatbot, but I think those things drive potential clients away. Trying to figure out if I should tell him or not

Lesson learnt:

Never tell your colleagues where you are joining beforehand.
Not all are good advisors, some will ruin your mind with their opinions.

I have accepted an offer for the role of Director of Data Science & Analytics and I'll be working with old colleagues. I am very excited. I haven't given notice yet because I am waiting for the background check to complete, but my boss just asked me about traveling to a meeting in November. I start at the new job Oct 25. How do you deal with a Midlevel who tells the partner you’ll cover for them, but gives you less than 24 hours notice they’ll be gone without asking if you can cover?
