I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

Best year of my life :)
Looking at just the experience itself, no other bschool can touch it with a 10ft pole. It was in a league of its own.
Our grad ball booked out the friggin summer palace for king Louis - something completely closed to the public.
Weekend getaways to a new country every weekend (either in Europe or Asia). An entire class of people who have international backgrounds. Your standards for food and wine will skyrocket. World class professors who are also chill and let you drink in class. Discussions in class will be humbling, as you realize how impressive your professors and classmates are. Fascinating to take off a USA-centric lens of the world too - ie having a legitimate debate on the merits of democracy with someone who is a straight up communist and realizing that you haven’t thought through things as much as you thought you did.
Honestly it was just amazing. I would give up a couple of fingers to go back in time and do it again.
Yes. Manager and $150k with only 3 YOE is good.
Most of cfo&ev is MC, especially since many of the integrated op model and ED&A strat individuals went to the CEO&ES group- the only functional group that has no legacy Mc resources for now.
While I only have insight to one of the regions MC is probably 85-90% of the practice with strategy making up the rest (they have a lot of tech focused SAP and Oracle individuals and more process, technical skill sets as the core work there is big ERP implementations and process transformation). The strategy folks really only do the op model, vision and capability/roadmap stuff.

Base seems low. I would think our managers are more in the 160s

S&C (Strategy & Consulting) is an umbrella term which includes Strategy and MC. A tip, if someone says they're in S&C it means they're in MC, no one from Strategy says that. Think of it similar to PwC Advisory. MC, Tech and S& are all under Advisory but you'd never hear a S& person say "I'm in advisory" when asked where they sit
