Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

I would venture to guess biglaw general commercial lit is one of the more difficult practices to go in-house from, particularly if you don’t have a lot of experience in one industry. I’d probably be looking at almost any role I could get. There aren’t many in-house litigation roles, but you could look at those. You could also try to sell yourself as a generalist that could handle a product counsel type role.
Thank you! I would be interested in a product counsel role but most I see require privacy experience which I don’t have unfortunately
IP Litigation, SEC filings, and maybe Privacy deal with less contract work. But even then, you’ll still do some contract work specific to your role. Maybe some kinds of compliance roles too.

Why? Transactional is so much fun as a former litigator.
