Why don’t you work from the office 2 days per week? Cut down on costs, but you’ll probably get your fill of face to face interaction
Thats a good idea. A lot of folks are going to office 1 or 2 days per week
Curious, did you make a conscious move to be 1.5hours away from city center, assuming KPMG will be city center? Was this a decision during covid? I don't have an answer for you situation, just trying to figure out your circumstances.

I'm about the same time from my office. I'm a city mouse but my wife is a country mouse so we ended up moving a few years ago. I take the train into town a couple days a week. It's $18 for a round trip but it's cheaper than parking alone.
What gets me more is buying breakfast, coffee, lunch, second coffee, and a snack before I get back on the train.
The way I see it. It's still cheaper than my old condo and the wife is happy so it's all good.
I also question whether you should work in a Public place taking calls. You never know who is around.
