Does Natwest bank pay as competitive as Morgan Stanley Deutsche Bank. I mean Associate in MS and DB ranges from 20 to 30 lakh. However when I tried applying to Natwest expecting 40% hike (30 lpa) on current pay of 21 lakh. They straightway rejected me and said its not in their budget. Is there any financial firm which can pay as competitive to Mumbai banks. Barclays Deutsche Bank Natwest group BlackRock

Quit? Hell no. Unless you have a better offer somewhere else. Ride that wave and get severance, always.
I’ve been laid off 3 times. Always received a nice package and have never been questioned when interviewed at new opportunities. @AD1, you can always negotiate for a larger severance if you don’t sign anything right away. If you are laid off vs fired - they don’t want to burn a bridge, you were worth the role, they just can’t afford to keep you.
Start interviewing, but don’t quit. You can apply for unemployment benefits if you’re let go + severance, so much safer to wait or get a better offer.
Lol I'm a professional, I would never not to my job.
But so were some of the people they claimed were underperforming, and let go. It doesn't make sense.
Do you work at Pereira O'Dell 😂
No but ill make sure I don't apply lol
What state are you in? In nyc if you're let go you can almost always get unemployment unless the employer can prove that you did something wrong. Even if they say that they're getting rid of you because you weren't capable of doing your job well, you can still get unemployment. NY considers that if an employer offers you a job and you turn out not to have the experience they need, that's their fault for hiring the wrong person, not yours, so you still get unemployment. Also, you should always apply for unemployment even if your employer says that you don't qualify. In NY at least, the unemployment office determine your eligibility, not the company. The company has to prove why you aren't eligible for unemployment, and if they can't, they have to give it to you.
