Got an offer from an industry which originally required relo to Chicago area. Negotiated to be 100% remote even after pandemic is over. However, there is no mention of staying remote on an official offer letter. Should I ask HR to amend offer letter so it’s clearly written out that role is 100% remote or accept offer? Don’t want to accept offer and few months or maybe a year later they ask to relocate.

In a tough situation. I love my role and the people at (1.5 yrs in role) MS. Was networking on LinkedIn and connected with a partner who got me an interview and now offer paying 55% more than current salary? What do I do? I like money but feel bad about leaving current role. I love the people I work with and another associate just left last week. How would I explain why I’m leaving?
