Got an offer for Atlassian Canada - senior product manager. Initial offer is 160k base +15% annual bonus (24k) + 20k sign on bonus. RSU is 220k USD payable over next 4 years. There's no RRSP match (401k match equivalent). Considering its Atlassian, and current market rate, I think base is low. I would like it to be bumped upto to 180k. The recruiter earlier said the top of the pay range is 165k, which I feel is not really top but maybe median? Help me negotiate please; historically suck at it.

Also, what are the kind of employment checks they run post generating the offer letter and how long does that process takes to complete? I presume after the reference checks, they issue an unconditional offer letter?

Had a final round on Friday. Recruiting was off then for a wellness day. I thought the interview went well. The manager I last interviewed with said they’d discuss amongst themselves and I should hear back early this week. How long does it usually take for them to make a decision? I know it’s the week of Christmas and only Monday, but this would’ve been an awesome Christmas gift since I really want the role!

Our general targets are 75% util. Billable or qualified non-billable time. Bonuses will be $1000 per quarter just meeting that. $25/ hr for every billable hour beyond that on top.
