Op: look at associate product management roles at tech companies. Google, Amazon, and a bunch of smaller firms are offering these. Not all are as competitive as Google. And these are a great training ground for VC roles.
Try for VC roles and PE.
I'm going for pretty much entry level analyst positions and gonna try to negotiate for a higher salary. Don't have enough experience to be considered an experienced hire. Thanks Pwc for fucking over a ton of people who you said would be "safe"!!!
Op if you are in NY look at AppNexus and MediaMath. Growing tech companies that are good for juniors.

Strategy roles at financial services firms. Try black rock or AiG. They have junior strategy people. Also both Google and LinkedIn offer a business strategy &oops role for juniors that is easier to get than product management.

Thoughts on start ups? May take an initial pay cut but could be well worth it in the long term
@pwc1 thank you! Anything more on the management/finance side? Currently doing MC and would ideally like to continue on that trajectory.
Palantir technologies has an engagement manager type role but their culture is terrible. Some startups offer engagement management type roles as they scale with new clients.
You can also try for strategy roles at banks but these are harder because the often take internal analysts. Good luck!
PwC2, so true! I know quite a few people who were let go in the February round who still haven't been able to find anything because they only have half a year to their credit. One of them finally found a job and he had to relocate to a different city for it. So messed up. 😡
