All rumors aside, what are some actual viable exit opportunities for a 1st/2nd year analyst?

I have a year of experience in a clinical ops role where learning is quite stagnant. I’m eagerly looking to transition to good challenging opportunities in life science consulting/analytics and allied domains. Which organisations/startups/roles should one apply to being a non-technical applicant with a masters in biotechnology?

It would be really helpful to get your guidance on further course of action.

I recently gave my technical phone screening interview for the role of BA 1 at Amazon it went pretty good was able to answer 90% of the answers but after that I see that my job application shows on their portal shows 'no longer under consideration' although I'm yet to receive any mails from them.

Didn't have top grades, wasn't on law review. Worked at a midsize firm and was laid off in march-- have about 3 years experience in a hot practice area. Have been applying and had some interviews at larger shops but nothing has come of it. Compliance question here, I have always thought of the SALT deduction on the fed return as a perm item & have treated as such in such sch M-3. I see that some people put it as a temp on sch M-3. What is the justification for treating it as a temp on the M-3. You don’t set up a deferred on the def RF for the state tax deduct & it is also a rate impacting item (I know that some temps can be rate impacting). But this all leaves me to side with perm. Does anyone know the logic behind temp treatment?
