Starting at mbb soon. Thinking of taking ~10 weeks before starting off. Would that be appropriate?

How have people regained their professional confidence after being transitioned out of MBB? I always had good scores overall but was average in problem solving, hence the transition. Now as I job search I can’t help but feel like if I couldn’t succeed as a bottom-of-the-pile Associate how could I possibly sell myself to another company? Especially as problem solving is so key to strategy work. Any tips on how to overcome this feeling of failure.. Is this a normal reaction?

I'm accepting an offer with a new company... Start in early Aug. Senior Manager role, though in this company that equates to Manager at most consulting farms. They did not had hunt me. I came to them for the job.

I have a partner on my project who is full of feedback and suggestions but has never once said thank you to the team for their hard work or acknowledged our strengths.
