Hi Londoners ,
Moving in from outside UK.
Looking out for some areas in west / NW London where one can live with an infant on max 1400£ rental while requiring one partner to travel to Central occasionally for work and the other person 3 days a week to LHR.
Some Qns:
1) Will 1 Bedroom be too cramped for the infant to grow up? Should I raise budget?
2) I prefer being in family /childcare friendly areas. Had Harrow, Acton in mind . Are they good for my budget or any other suggestions?

Can anyone at Amex share my resume in their team to directly start the rounds of interview? I have tried for referrals through linkedIn and did not recieve any call from the HR.

United
Yes true
Chief
Varies by your experience. I hate United so I fly AA exclusively
Chief
They’re equivalent except the AA gate agents/customer service haven’t been blatantly rude to me yet so I’ll stick w it
United's hub is out of ohare, so that's the move
Chicago is United’s home and they have a hub here. American also has a hub at Ohare based out of terminal 3.
United
I fly both, but united more than American.
Im with United but for the UK the choice is American due to British Airways being in One World. In general, United is much better for European travel bc of Star Alliance and all the Germanic carriers, but the UK is the one spot AA shines. While both have hubs in Chicago, Uniteds is bigger so more local/domestic flight options though again AA is just fine here. So depends where you plan to travel.
If you want to redeem miles for European travel, go with United. AA will likely mean going through London, but there is a significant UK tax on business class trips through London (even with using miles).
This is the correct answer. AA/BA points receptions to Europe suck.
I fly both and don’t find much difference other than their international flights. United is better connected than American.
United.

To go to Europe, definitely United.
