To prevent any issues and avoid possibly forfeiting your MR points, sign up for the EveryDay credit card. It's a no annual fee card that earns MR points, this would allow you to keep your points when you transfer. When you get the new amex corporate card those MR points would go straight to your account. That's what I did. Let me know if you have any questions.
Ur points should be on ur personal MR account which you will keep no matter what. However you might need to pay the $80 to activate MR earning on your new Amex Corp
I believe you'll need a personal card that accrues MR to tide yourself over unless there's a grace period. If you don't have a personal card maybe try calling customer service and just asking what'll happen if you have no linked Amex for 30 days or whatever.
if you have a personal card you must request thru chat that they transfer your corporate pts to your personal account
