Recruiter for big tech company reached out on LinkedIn about a role. I asked about ballpark compensation numbers and they said they’re only comfortable sharing on a live call. My NP is about to end.
I gave 10-15 company interviews and converted 4 offers. But could get max offer of 22. Though it's a great amount, I see many here who get 25-30lpa offer with same profile.

When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.
