Any advice or comfort for anxiety of going back into office/post-covid in general? I’m afraid of change, the stress of socialization, the pressure to be presentable, and being apart from my dog.

With WFH, I’ve finally had the time to exercise, self reflect, and become more of the person I want to be. I worried about losing the time and energy to keep do this once the world goes back to normal.

Does your company have a Asian professional group? Since we are still in covid mode. What are you doing for the professional development classes / events. So we have done, Ask the recruiter, fireside chats w executive mgmt, events w Naaap and ascend. With everyone still working from home ppl are not engaged and it is harder for networking.

My last therapist keeps coming up in my mind. I left her when I moved to a new area before COVID dug in and frankly it felt like leaving a girlfriend. She also disclosed in the final session that she was a member of AA and knew several of the people I occasionally discussed from the rooms. I started a new job recently and then had my PTSD seriously triggered, plus a panic attack. Felt so on edge and low on emotional resources for over a week that I wasn’t myself and apparently really rubbed a few people the wrong way so I was called in for a talking to 😣. I let people know there were some personal things going on, but didn’t mention the PTSD—very unsure if that’s something to share, or if I’d be judged for it or... I don’t even know. Has anyone else dealt with PTSD and had it impact them at work, and how did you handle it?
