I currently work for a company that has 91 employees and I’m the only HR person here. I only make 56K a year and I’m for sure getting screwed since I live in Lancaster, PA. I have a bachelors in Comm/HR with 3 YOE in HR.

What should my salary range be? This is great experience but I’d like to know if it’s even worth the stress. I’m looking to work remote and would love to still be involved in HR. What’s a good asking price for a remote HR generalist position with my experience?

What is the annual hike percentage at Nielsen? I have been offered a position as Assistant Data Scientist.

Hi all - Hope you are doing well!
Wanted to connect with someone who could provide me a referral or point me in the right direction to the hiring person for an Integrated Marketing Communications Manager position at Microsoft. I would truly appreciate it!

My maternity leave is ending soon. Any advice on how to make the most of my time before returning to work? I’m scared about the upcoming transition.

Is the Strategy& health practice still hiring a lot? If so, is 100% remote still possible for new hires, or is that option phasing out? Would 60-70 hours a week be realistic, or more like 70-80+? Thanks!

Is it better to look for jobs with a recruiter or apply yourself. What are the actual benefits of talking to recruiters ?

Hello fishes,

I have 6 and half YOE in front end development. (angular and hybrid applications). I joined my current organization ( product based) in Feb for 24LPA. The work here is too stressful and there is absolutely zero WLB. So I decided to start looking out again. However I am not getting good interview calls. Are most companies not hiring now ? Or could it because my CTC is too high ?

What are typical exit salaries? Aka if your spouse/roommate/friend isn’t in consulting, what do they make, if they’re doing in-house strategy or marketing. I’m seeing an opportunity for 60K which would be a pay cut from what I currently make, but consulting has ruined what is “normal” for post MBA salary

I've been in manual testing for 80% of my career. Despite attempts to transfer into a more code-centric role, I never got the opportunity to do so. Now that I'm in a management role, I feel like it's too late to enhance my programming skills.

Suppose I want to transition into a developer role, will self-study be sufficient for passing the necessary requirements for coding jobs? Lately, I've been learning python and using what I learned by solving problems at leetcode.

Hi there!! Looking to break into Netflix. Can anyone offer a referral? Thanks in advance!

Hello! I am currently interviewing with a recently funded series A startup. They currently have 50 employees.

The pay for the position I'm interviewing for is considerably on the higher side, which is great. Or should I be worried I will be asked to wear too many hats, work excessive hours ect..?

I've always worked at larger more stable companies.

What resources, methods can I use to make sure I do my research to ensure this is a good company to work for and it will be around for a while?

Work from home has been great for many reasons, but the confession part of this post is how much a loud, disorganized, chaotic environment raises my stress levels. I’ve realized that I can be so much more productive in a quiet home office. But I know some people like the “energy” of a corporate office.

When can a dev finally say I am a senior dev or a potential to become lead, say you don't get affirmation from your mgmt or seniors as you see no growth in this company anymore, at what point I can myself recognise about myself? Is it some techstacks/problem-solving/skillset/behavioural/other stuff that i might not know? How to reach that senior dev mindset and work ethics?

What’s the best benefit at your firm?

Hi all, what are the mental health benefits at Deloitte?

Question regarding health insurance: I am going to be giving notice later this month and new insurance does not take effect until 1st if the month after 30 days of employment. So, I will most likely have a gap of one month with no insurance. Is that looked at as a bad thing in regards to insurance companies and what they will cover in the future? I really do not want to pay almost 2500 for a month of premiums when my family really does not go to the doctor frequently except for emergencies....

Wife is expecting and I heard that EY provides a free pump for expecting families. Can’t find this anywhere in MyPeople. Does anyone know how I can access this benefit?

I’m currently on a high-deductible plan at EY (along with my our infant) but my wife is separately insured through her current employer. I’ll be adding her to my insurance (already maxing HSA) ... is there anything else I should be working on? Planning to roll her 401k into an IRA ASAP.
