When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.

Is it a good idea to rebrand myself as a device driver developer so that I can get calls again?

Does anyone have a similar experience? I interviewed with recruiters from two of "Big 4". Both interviews went well, and I was told the recruiters will submit my resume to the partners and senior managers for the next interviews. 3 weeks later, I received the rejection letters without the next interview. I wonder why the partners even not bothered to interview me. If it matters, I am a CPA with 3 years non-PA experience and applied for experienced associate positions. I appreciate any insights.

Need some benchmarks: What would average/good survey results be for a leadership skills class (instructor-led)? We ask for the participant’s experience (did you like it, would you recommend, etc.), and also send an impact survey out 2 months later to their manager (have you seen positive behavior changes since training). Question about solo/self-employed 401ks: If I create a sole-member LLC for a side business and create a solo/self-employed 401k, am I only allowed to make contributions from the earnings earned via the LLC? Or am I allowed to contribute money earned from a different source (ie W-2 job).

People that have small children - how do you deal with your child’s stress and separation anxiety when you go to work? My 4-year old goes berserk almost every day at some point relating to me having to work. The worst part is that I’ve been working from home bc of Covid and I’m literally just walking upstairs after giving hugs and kisses and saying see you soon 800 times. My spouse is a stay at home parent, but that doesn’t seem to matter to my son. A piece of me dies everyday because of this.

He mention that I should read some sales pitch books of some sorts so I can get a process down and not be drain from having genuine conversations with every client. I think it’s a great idea.
