I'm working in Tata Consultancy for last 9months. I got allocated to Deployment team in Kolkata. I'm a quick learner and it was my mistake to learn everything so quickly. I've been forced to work for 12hrs at least regularly. Also, I've been providing night support daily for production (yes!! Production is happening daily) but I'm not getting any overtime pay. My manager is not responding to my mails regarding my dues. What shall I do?? Will HR help me? I'm demotivated and I want to resign. 😞

Strategy team is great. But all the other teams are swamped all the time. C-suite is inaccessible and creative blatantly plays favorites. Lots of ego. Weird positioning as “big indie”
If you have offers elsewhere, I’d pursue them. But times are tough. If you need a job, it’s doable for a couple years
I'm guessing the Glassdoor reviews are accurate??
Damn I guess GIFs don’t play here. Google dead Elmo GIF.
Resourcing is an issue. Creative is stretched thin and few (if any) clients with work that’s worth it. Creative leadership is incredibly strong so most of us are sticking it out in hopes they right the ship (and also the job market sucks)
For a strategist, probably better
It's fine in my experience. We have some great strategists, and I've heard NS, Chief Marketing Officer, is great though I haven't worked with him directly. I think the merger has only been somewhat effective, so we're still a little top-heavy. As far as culture goes, I'm remote so I can just avoid some of the rah-rah BarkleyOKRP stuff, which isn't my style anyway. I will say that my immediate team has some absolutely wonderful people on it, and has a real culture of respecting work-life balance. For whatever reason, clients tend to skew towards safer choices--I've heard that across the agency. Benefits are slightly worse than what I got when I worked for a big network. .
