I feel empty and hate my job. I am passionate about privacy law, 1st Am, gaming, but with COVID happening when I graduated and colleagues getting offers revoked due to budget cuts, I took first job I could which was an immigration firm I interned at — long story short it was and remained shit pay, I was manipulated be taken advantage of by the bosses, so I took the first job I could to escape and get paid better — recruiter reached out for an ID firm, I figured it’d be good experience. Very, very long turnaround time and often job postings just close without the “reviewing application” or “referred as eligible” status changing. The subreddit r/usajobs has a lot of timelines and advice to share on the mess that is federal hiring.
