I would if I could, though recognize once kids hit school-age they’ll be gone half the waking day. At that point, I’d go nuts staying home by myself
You can get back then
I'm getting burnt out also. Prefer kid management over work. Waiting till we have #3 in April then taking 3-4 months off. Wife makes more but spends more too so I'm screwed
I quit consulting and moved to industry. I don't think I would want to stay at home.. My wife made more as well, but I got a good exit to industry and more pay.. Also less pressure.. Never have I ever connected to work after 5pm or on weekends. Peace.
M1, which company? K1-I am on the same boat! Which city?
Taking care of kids is wayyyyy more work then working. Keep your job
Well that’s also part of it...what if I don’t have a job anymore...?
Tagging to follow. I would, as soon as my wife makes more than me. That’s what we are planning towards in next few years.
I’m thinking of it, my wife makes less but her job is more meaningful than mine.
Same here. She loves her job and her ceiling is way higher than mine.
I do well (>200TC), wife does better. Am likely going to continue work but not sweating it if I burn out. She loves what she does and I “tolerate work"

With Covid I feel I’m spending more time looking after my kids then my work. There are times I feel like leaving consulting ( I believe it’s due to covid and wfh)
