Any resources you people would recommend on getting prepped for consulting interviews and generally learning about the nature of the field?

I've applied to several positions, simply because the job descriptions (analytical thinker, blah blah) sounded suitable matches for me, but I'm still quite new in the area and would like to learn things properly.

Any books, courses, websites, certificates, etc?

I have been practicing in creditors rights/foreclosure in PA & NJ for around 4.5 years. Due to the foreclosure/eviction moratoriums there is no work to do and I was furloughed. I am looking to change directions- what is the most logical next move?

A question from a youngster. Is working at a big big company with slightly low pay better or working at a much smaller company with higher pay better?

In the future, after a few years, let’s say I’m at a small company and want to switch to big big company, will the “small names” hurt my chance to get into the big doors?

I mean big big company is like 10x bigger than the small one if this was a factor. Assume everything else the same, WLB, commute, teams, etc.
