Hi all! Was wondering if anyone could give a referral/insight into moving into sustainability/climate roles in big4, mbb or at CBRE . I have 5 years exp in research analysis/data wrangling/business development in nonprofit and industry consulting, but I want to pivot to sustainability/environment work as its something I really enjoy. My education is in environmental policy and I have internships in renewables/built environment. KPMG PwC Boston Consulting Group

It’s really easy. Do the trailhead and you are good to go.
I was suspicious on how easy it was when I saw a flurry of people passing the very first day on LI lol
From what I can see, if you’ve ever done any BA work, you already know the core concepts.
I’m excited I was already working on Einstein. But I was shocked I had no idea until some guy on twitter was like “day one certification in business analysis”. Between that and the trail doesn’t seem hard. It’s mostly random modules in my opinion. But you have to be an Administrator first.

They changed the passing score from 62% to 72% today (presumably because the pass rate was unexpectedly high).

Tbh it’s so easy that you still won’t need to study to pass.
Very intuitive. You shouldn’t need to study for it if you have been consulting for a few years.
IMO Salesforce is diluting the value of “certifications” by offering easy pass certifications like this one.

I think it’s a good thing. Certs are just one part of the equation. IMO the people who have things like “12x Certified” on their LinkedIn are overvaluing they certs.
If you've worked as a BA or have worked closely with one, you should be able to pass without studying. Similar to Strategy Designer, it's pick one of 3 options rather than the usual pick one of 4 or multi select 2 out of 4 or 3 out of 5. If you have some doubts, go through the Trailheads and then you'll for sure pass.
Is this the get started as a BA trail?

I consider it a joke because of all the "day 1 cert" garbage haha. Maybe I'm wrong and it is a reflection of a good business analyst?

It’s really easy I just passed it.
Really easy and I passed it too
Are the people taking it using vouchers or codes to get it for free or at a cheaper price? Kind of find it hard to justify a $200 price tag
Salesforce Business Analyst cert isn’t available to select just yet for a free voucher, but I guess Acc might just be slow compared to others
