I had 50% in VT and 50% in individual stocks in my brokerage account but I just accepted a job from a Big 4 so I need to sell some of my individual stocks. I need to invest that amount in something else and I want to tell my portfolio a little bit towards something that’s a bit more risky for higher potential returns. Any suggestions on ETFs to look into?

He has applied fr the match last yr & was nt able to match. Hey fishes, can someone tell me how the 80c bracket works, i know i can get exempt upto 1.5lakh under it, what i wanna know is does PF comes under it or not? For example if my yearly pf deduction is 20k and VPF is 10k so now will i still be able to show investment of 1.5lakh under 80c apart from PF and VPF or i'll be able to get exemption on only 1.2 lakh( 1.5lakh-30k= 1.2lakh)?

Currently 31 with 6.5 YOE and single . Should have NW of 250k by end of this year. (No significant assets in India). Considering this money all reminds invested I should have a decent nest egg for retirement. Have an LIC policy that will be worth arnd 50 lakhs when I surrender it (plan down payment for an apartment). Struggling to convince parents this should be enough for me to move back. They think I should move back when I have more financial security. What more should I plan for ?

I live on the far north side of Chicago now, but my partner got a new job and it would be an hour each way by car to commute for him. I work downtown along the red line. Hi all, I am trying to DCA bi-weekly into Vanguard ETFs, (VO, VTI etc). It seems like Fidelity does not support auto buying of non-Fidelity ETFs. So I was wondering which of these options you think is best?

1. Open a Vanguard Invest account
2. Look for Fidelity ETFs that are similar to Vanguard ETFs
3. Use smaller brokerages like SoFi l, Robinhood etc.

I really do not want to manage nor be active. My goal is to log-in like once every 6 months.
