I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. Are stock refreshers based on the initial RSU grant or solely based on performance? Google
Hi there, I have 3.5 YOE working for NHS Finance. I applied to Deloitte Risk Advisory, Public Sector (London, UK) and was successful. Waiting to hear back with package offer but it’s been over 2 weeks - was told they may offer M2 grade, any ideas what this is?
I’m also interviewing for Senior consultant role also at Deloitte. How much would this typically pay?
Torn whether to stay within NHS as I will be getting an internal promotion or move to Deloitte.
What’s the WLB like? Good job security?
TCS is the worst company one can be in.
Cheap mindset management cares more about timesheet, wfo, forceful mandatory trainings, imposing strict restrictions on laptop, access to personal docs only via vpn,no employee well being no salary hikes nth at all.90% projects filled with freshers coz they cost less.No WLB for good dedicated hard working employees as they are punished with more and more work, leaves rewards mostly for people who don’t work. But no issues kyunki job security hai 😂

“What are the current plans and timeline for restoring our pay?”
Might want to ask about the firm's 2020 financials/2021 budget first to make sure firm can actually afford to restore pay. But if partner profits are up/steady, salaries should be restored and also made whole. Partners should bear primary risk of financial downturn not associates/staff
Do you have a mentor or have a close relationship with a partner who you could ask?
Individual partners may not know. I find that unless it's an item in a partner meeting, most partners are pretty clueless about associate comp.
My firm has a "chief of talent" type person who generally communicates about comp, bonuses, and even evaluation cycles. So that would be the first go to about comp questions.
