I paid back half of my transfer bonus when I left. What’s your question? Whether they enforce it? They certainly do
If it’s close they will leave it to Partner discretion. I didn’t have to pay back relocation expenses even though I was 3 days away from the mark because it was so close the Partner said for HR to let it go. So it depends on your circumstances but 23 days they’ll likely enforce it.
I don’t think they’ll like me that much
Thanks for the help! Was hoping they wouldn’t enforce lol. Whatever! Worth every fucking penny
You could potentially mention it to your hiring company and see if they’ll pay the difference for you. Although I’m not sure how your loyalty sounds if you tell them directly “hey I’m breaking my sign on bonus, can you give me a bigger sign on bonus? Promise I’ll work for you longer...” haha. Something to consider
I did get a sign on bonus there but was hoping I wouldn’t lose it straight to PwC. Again, worth it. But just a bummer.
Damn that’s good...I gotta stay two years or they take 50% back after first year...@ deloitte
Dang that sucks!!
