I have received offer from Shell and SAP labs is in final stage salary discussion. Shell is offering 6 lacs more than @SAP labs. I have tried to negotiate a lot from SAP but they are not ready. They are putting conditions like give your full commitment to join then only we'll release offer letter. I am currently looking for work life balance with growth. Should I join @SAP considering its a Product based and good WLB and learning? Teck Stack - Java/Micro-services/cloud YOE - 11yrs

So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?
I got a call from TCS and suddenly on the same day, they conducted interview. Meeting link has been shared in the WhatsApp from the same person but not in the email. Is it normal? It used to be a good team. Lots of recent changes so not sure where things are today. Generally speaking, good place to work. Comp levels are decent, not top line. Exits opps are decent, but you’re not going to step out as a CFO or something, more likely to exit at SVP level (sr. Management). WLB is good, but you have to set and manage boundaries. Outputs are good, customers generally happy.
Would love to know how big the team is in the Singapore office. My impression was that there was not much of a difference between the PwC advisory team and the strategy& team (unlike in the US)
Yes, that is correct
Though, sometimes, Deals Strategy team works on value creation project as well.
In terms of pay, Deals Strategy is aligned to PwC Deals pay but this is gradually being changed, and in a year or two, Deals Strategy pay should be significantly higher than PwC Deals pay.
In terms of WLB, the team typically works late (normal for CDD projects).
Also, Strategy& is not a very strong name in SEA market and the non Deals Strategy& team in Singapore is very small
@P3: yes. In the US, there are 2 Deals teams that are a part of Strat&: Deals Strategy & PEVC. The pay is aligned with Strat& pay for these 2 teams.
