Anybody work at EY in the national tax pass through transactions group/modeling?

I am interested in applying to a position in the group and curious to hear about others experiences (type of work, hours, pay range for HCOL compared to general federal financial services). Also happy to take a referral from someone in the group, or in tax in general.

Thank you in advance!

Why not stay at kpmg and move into PTG. I’m in core m&a tax but work with PTG on my partnership work - really strong group with great opportunities. Feel free to DM me.

My understanding is that it’s generally very difficult to transfer into nts. It usually starts with a rotation (which is hard to get in itself) and even then the majority of people go back to their old practice. And given the timing and staffing needs of my current practice, I’m not sure they’d jump at the chance to rotate me.

In the event that I got an offer from the ey team, I would talk to kpmg about it before making any decision. Overall though it’s my experience/opinion that transferring groups is much much easier and more efficient to get hired externally.

Should have mentioned that it would be for an experienced manager position

With about 8-8.5 years of experience and a cpa/ms tax

Bump??

I work in this group at EY and we are definitely looking for people! Feel free to DM me! Would be happy to chat
