I just recently worked 58.6 hours in a week, weekly pay, nice OT profit right? Depends on where you live.

In Iowa, there is no Overtime pay mandate, the overtime pay is at the discretion of the business. I received 58.6 hours of base pay for the week.

If the company makes less than $1 million per year or does not engage in intercontinental sales, the company is not required to pay the overtime rate of time and a half, just your base rate.

What is the average paralegal salary in NC for a commercial real estate law office? I’ve been with a great firm for the last 9 years but am starting to wonder if I’m being compensated fairly. The company is about 30 employees (mostly attorneys) but I work primary for 4 of the attorneys.

What would be a typical salary for a junior in house counsel role (3 yoe) at a publicly traded company in a secondary market (think Austin, Tampa, Charlotte)? I’m having a really hard time finding what a reasonable range would be. Need a good recommendation for a home office chair. I work from home a lot and need a new chair. My new one isn’t cutting it for me- it’s not comfy and I have lower back pain.

This past year was/is the worst in my life by far. Aside from all the Covid mess we’ve all dealt with I lost a parent, an in-law, my spouse has decided they no longer want to be married and my grandmother is in hospice with days left. I believe this was/is my least productive year in my career as a result. I’m worried my job won’t be here in a few months and I’m doing my best to hold it together. Sorry to be a downer but I just needed to throw my worries out there in hopes they never come back.

Hi PwCers: have an intro call coming up for a deals strategy role within pwc. Have more of a financial diligence background but have worked on a few large transactions where I worked closely with CDD. Any tips on how to best position myself in the intro calls?

Also what is the difference between Deals Strategy between pwc vs S&? The descriptions seem fairly equal to me.
