Anyone booked international last minute fares recently on Delta? Is there a significant discount if you are a platinum medallion?

I wish, not even an insignificant discount

Unfortunately status doesn't mean anything when it comes to pricing out fares. Would be a nice perk though

like

^ Agree K1. I was thinking more along the lines of buying a standby ticket and get the seat due to status (read somewhere that standby tickets should be cheaper)

Status can help you get access to sold out fares and certain award fare classes. But not discounted fares.

Usually you can only buy standby tickets if you or someone in your immediate family works for the airline. If not, everyone would buy standby and revenue management goes out the window.

Prior to Accenture, I have already served as S&O Manager with Deloitte India for ~1.5 yrs - so this would be my second stint with Deloitte as Manager "again".

2 questions:
1. Should I ask for Senior Mgr (AD) grade - to which they have already said NO
2. Is GBP 76.5K sitting at the lower end of M grade in Deloitte UK? What should be a good expectation for the role

I live in studio, high-rise building. This is my second highest electricity bill. I work from home (computer usually on all day, occasional TV & microwave use, living room & bathroom lights when needed).

If you live in an apartment/studio mainly - does your bill breakdown the same way with a base price, usage price & tax?

Help - how do I fight claims by scammer healthcare providers?

I recently went to 2 different providers.

Dentist, made appt via Zocdoc to see a dentist that was in network. Another dentist at the location saw me instead who was out of network. I have text evidence they said it would be covered before visit. Claim was denied - asking for ~500 dollars.

Saw a specialist who’s office staff verified my insurance would fully cover the claim. Get the claim, says they are out of network. Owe 600.
