Hi All. I have a good job offer but I'm wondering whether I should negotiate comp. I made it clear from the beginning what my target for base comp was which is ~$10K over the top of the posted salary range for the job. I also said that I was comfortable proceeding with the interview process despite the top of that range being lower (somewhat weakening my position for later I suppose). The offer is at the very top of the range. Bonus is 5% less than what I get in my current job. Negotiate?

How soon after a final interview with a DM is ok to call and follow up on a job potential?

Been in sales for 7 years (door to door,telecom,BDR,) I interviewed for a closing position and after submitting a demo presentation and 2 mock emails they have moved be forward for the last “wrap up call”. Any tips and advice for this?

When did you decide to get medicated? I have what I’d call “high functioning” depression and anxiety. See a therapist and all, but still deal with lows that seem hard to overcome for weeks on end - losing interest, hard to focus on work, sleeping difficulties, etc. Hard to tell when to make that decision!

I got offers from PragerM, UHY, and PKF. I think I made my decision but wanted to see if anyone had any insight of them. Would you not choose one for one reason or another? Or is there one that stands out and would jump on immediately? Thanks all.

I’m a fairly new manager and there is a high expectation to contribute ideas on how to improve our ways of working, flag up bottlenecks, contribute to strategy etc. We usually have meetings where we discuss these things as a team ( manager and above), but I hardly ever have anything to say. Is there such a thing as getting promoted TOO quickly? Just got the bump to AS after 10 months as an AE. Not at all typical at my agency (usually 5 to 8 YOE).
