But as a high-level overview of what I've seen:
Strategy: Corp Strategy at F500, S&O at big techBizOps, PE (both investing and ops teams), venture capital, product management (primarily from SSG)
TSE: S&O roles (more indexed to the operations side), F500 ops roles, Corp Dev, MBB M&A branches
TRS: Not so sure here. PE ops is a big one from the Value Creation team, but not sure where else people go from here
I'm in Strategy so I'm more familiar with the exits there; I'm sure there are ones in TSE/TRS I'm missing.
In general Strategy has better exits, but the tradeoff is we work more hours than TSE while getting paid the same.
Tier 1 consulting , PE and industry (ops not strategy)
Will largely depend on what practice/level you're at. DM me if you want to discuss more in detail - happy to refer if you're interested and a good fit
Exit opportunities depends on how you performed in your previous role and how skilled you are for the roles that you want to break into. It helps if you came from big, established companies/firms. But at the end oof the day, the employers are looking at your qualifications for employment.
Depends the group. If you’re in SSG exits are primarily product management at big tech or PE for both investing and ops
