I work there now and absolutely love it. I can’t speak for the Honda account specifically, but the agency itself is filled with great people who still want to push for good work, but still respect your outside work life.
The fact that you wrote “still” twice is at least worrisome.
Worked at RPA for 5+ years (in Media, but I think my experience is fairly typical from what I've heard from others). In short: some really amazing people, but average work. Someone below noted that Honda was pretty meh, and I've heard similar from old coworkers -- never worked on Honda myself.
Outside of the work, there are some really fantastic perks. Monthly happy hours, live concerts in the courtyard, plenty of ERGs and extra-curricular activities if that's up your alley. Most managers are very supportive, and you have pretty good work-life balance for an agency.
I will say that the company went through some severe layoffs in late-2021 that left people feeling disgruntled and resulted in a lot of churn, but that's pretty par for the course these days.
Unfortunately I can't offer any interview tips for a creative role, but wish you the best of luck!
I worked there too, and no one pushes the envelope. Creative work is trash and old school.
I worked there for some months on the Honda account. It's a very positive work environment with great coworkers, culture, and WLB (ADs did typically get a lot more work than CWs, so maybe the occasional long hour days). The creative directors I worked under were very fun and supportive.
Having said all that, Honda itself was meh. Not the most fun work, client isn't super receptive to higher concept ideas that steer away from your average car type work, and a lot of back and forth with legal feedback (it is a car company so not really a surprise).
Work life balance is known to be great, the work depends on the account but it’s that way anywhere. Break a leg on your interview 👍
