Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

🙋🏻♀️ I had my son in a full immersion French summer camp run by a language immersion school last summer when he’d just turned 5. He picked up a little of the language but didn’t love it there. He made friends but felt left out at times like story time when they read stories exclusively in French and he couldn’t follow. He only did it for the summer, so he didn’t have enough time to learn enough to speak it. I’d only recommend full immersion if your child will need to speak it where you are.
I haven’t had a child do this but I had to do full immersion English at age 5 or 6 when I moved to the US. I haaaaated going to school so much bc I hated not being able to understand what was going on the entire day. It got better after 6 months but it was a shitty experience. That said, I have friends with children in the elementary schools where they have dual language immersion (English and something else) and their kids do much much better bc they get a mix of new and familiar language use.
I started my kid in French immersion at pre-k. We don’t speak French at home though my hubby speaks some and I took it in school. His accent is very good and mine is terrible. It took a couple months to get going but she caught on quickly and is now fluent in 4th grade, doing roughly 50/50 French and English. We have to work harder to keep her French up than if one of us parents was truly Francophone, but I think it was a good choice for her and she just told me she likes speaking two languages.
Our son just turned 5 and has been in Spanish Immersion (pre-k) since he was 3. He has done really well, and I encourage you to give it a shot. He loves speaking Spanish. We do not speak Spanish at all at home.
My son is in an immersion school and kids adjust quickly. It will take no time at all. We do not speak the language at home. His school provides extra support, including tutors when needed. My son needed this for a few months when he first started in 3rd grade. We are so happy with the school. Best decision we ever made! Ask about what kind of support they can provide.
