kpmg is sponsoring mine. but i regret it. CSCP sucks

like

i did a master in logistics and quite frankely the cscp reminds me of my bachelor classes... memorisation, no deep dive into conceps with business cases,
more like dump of information and learn it bu heartt and practice exams... and exam is testing how good you are at taking exams than how muxh you understand/ know. trick questions

like

Deloitte is sponsoring my CSCP too

like

Can you please PM me

Are you still at pwc?

They used to sponsor the CSCP - pay for the certification and enroll you in a class. You might reach out to L&D or your RP to confirm. If they don’t offer it, ask about continuous learning funds towards one. I’d be surprised if both were cut.

From what I know the cert isn’t viewed by clients the way the PMP is. Likely due to many of them being immature of SC practitioners. Based on what I’m seeing above, you’d be better off finding more use cases / content online. Unless you want to be in the network of people in the class. It’s a small world after all.

So, I landed a Customer Service Advisor job at Sitel in the UK. But I heard that they fire you without any prior notice or end their campaigns abruptly, leaving us with no job. Can’t be facing the risk of no livelihood, right? Can anyone who worked with Sitel give me the real truth? And does Sitel sponsor Tier 2 Visas as such? I am surely looking for stability, security and growth.

I’m overworked and underpaid, but gaining valuable experience I hope to pivot toward an eventual in-house counsel position. I recently was offered an opportunity to lateral to a national firm for a significant pay increase (150% salary increase, much better benefits, hybrid WFH options). A bit uncertain about what I should do with my career. I am in a commercial role, doing some derivatives trading (mostly hedging, but getting to take some basis risk). My firm is small, and I am getting to do a lot of new things, but I’m not getting to “learn from the best”.

What should I be considering longer term? 5-10 YOE, only recently actively trading.

I am getting a good project in current company where there will be lot of learning
Initially it will be manual and then it will have automation testing. At the same time I have an offer in another company with good package but there won't be much learning compared to the current company project I am yet to get locked. Is learning important and priority for 4.5 years of experience? Or better to go with the high package offer? (Other company offer is from TCS). Your valuable comments would help.
