I liked i-75. He's a professor and his videos break down the material as if you're learning accounting for the first time. I like becker, but sometimes they assume the student already has a basic understanding of certain concepts. I had a trash professor for intermediate accounting, so I when I started using becker I couldn't understand a lot of concepts because my foundational knowledge wasn't there.

Join the Becker study groups on Facebook. People post helpful content on there. There is a becket group for each section of the CPA. People are pretty responsive on there too if you post any questions

I have been in insurance sales for 7 years. Not something was ever thinking I would do. I have a bachelors and masters in general psychology. My masters was more research based in hopes I would go back for my PhD one day. I decided to just go back for my MBA with a concentration in Business Analytics. How can I break out of the insurance sales role and into something else with insurance if all my experience has been sales. Should I just wait until I am done with my degree and then search after?

I am a business strategy consultant working at MBB in the US. I am looking to switch to a product management or strategy role in tech companies. Ideally I would switch to a company in the US and then transfer to India for about a year within a few months.

Suggestions on companies that have such options to transfer to India?

Is there a minimum time I have to work in the US before transferring to India?

Would you ask about the India transfer while recruiting or after?

What is the career path of Product Strategy roles in big tech? And how do they compare with the career path of Product Management? Who has more chances of being a CEO eventually? Know PM is sometimes referred to as the mini-CEO but there are also articles saying that’s not true and Product strategy is what helps define the eventual product strategy etc, and may have more growth potential.

Should a DevOps Cloud Engineer with 2 years experience earning around 10 LPA (base salary) in a Fortune 200, switch to a startup which pays almost 20 LPA base salary?
The reason to ask this question is, wouldn't it be difficult at the time of second switch, to move to another big organisation after one is already at 20-24 LPA with just 3-4 years of experience at a startup?
All thoughts are welcome.

Freelancing as a junior with 1 year of experience. Have not got a single book worthy piece. Is going freelance dumb ? Risky? Both? Just trying to gauge whether I should wait for a full time offer.

I have over 12 years in B2B sales/sales management experience along with a graduate degree. I am wanting to shift gears and I am at a point where I can invest time in myself to learn through practical experience. The new industry I am wanting to pursue is real estate investment. I have read all the books but want some hands on experience on the property management side. How could I best leverage my skills for a role in this, and what should my expectations be for negotiation in compensation?

Boutique or big 4?

I'm currently an ops manager at a big 4 in London and received an offer from a small boutique firm with 25-30% pay rise.

I'm also in the process with Accenture but I feel like I'm not sure if I'd jump just for the money but also change in environment.
What type of things would you be asking yourself if you were in my shoes and debating to jump ship?

So as a 30ish yo with a government/PE/tech background and CIPM/CIPP… I’m finding privacy work is just much easier and interesting than other kinds, but still pays plenty well.

Is it too late/inadvisable to go to law school to specifically aim for privacy work?

I just find some firms are unwilling to entertain the idea that anyone but a lawyer has anything relevant to contribute in this space…
