Kind of a new distance runner here (completed my first half mara last month) and am usually run on treadmill for workouts during the week. I also wear an Apple Watch. Have noticed that my Apple Watch tends to say I’ve run a longer distance, at a faster speed, than treadmill. (It’s usually up to 0.5 miles off and 0.5mph off in speed). Anyone experience this? Not sure what to trust but assuming Apple Watch. Thoughts?

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. It’s a crazy feeling for someone semi close to you, to of “been in competition” with you. For years. And you’re just now noticing. Like, girl. Is that why you act so conversationally constipated from time to time? You’re just a hater? 😂😂

My natural instinct is to assume rejection if I have conflict with a partner or don’t think my feelings are reciprocated. I’ll try to bring it up with them, but I’ll say “if you want to end this feel free” so it doesn’t hurt me (and they can say what they really mean instead of sugarcoating). Someone told me today that they just assume I’m not interested because I always seem to “run” but I’m not sure how to bring up problems/feelings otherwise. How do you approach these hard questions?

Does Globant terminates the employment of certain trainees after their probation(3 Months) based on their performance in the training period? Some of the fresher trainees were laid off this morning without giving a notice or reason.

We were told that the probation period is a training period & not an elimination one. It was shocking as a few of those trainees were actually good.

Just became an ACD. Im in a limbo. Half of the time im being treated as a Super Senior AD and the other half im being treated as a Almost CD. Then when im scoped over work that my CD and I oversee, some people are asking me how does my role differ from the CD’s, as they tend to look at me as an unnecessary layer for approvals. In a way, i do the job so well that i get asked to do more AD projs and guide more projs — but then: wtf does my CD do? They mostly just 👍🏻what i direct n approve
