Finally got my first role as a UX Designer! Extremely excited and wanted to thank everyone that helped me out with questions and input!

Quick question.
I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
- Continue working with the recruiting company, hoping that they will find another position for me? (as they told me they will, and when they applied me I started working with my current company within 2 weeks)
- Work with the recruiter + apply for jobs on my own?

Debating making the move to become a fed. GS-14 position. Has anyone considered making the move? I’m weight the pros/cons and debating if it’s a worthwhile move or not

What is role of a senior advisory consultant. Is it similar to solution architect

Feel like I missed the boat years back to get into Director of Product role. Back in the day there was only Senior in between a Director role, now there’s Lead and Group levels, so much hierarchy now.

Wondering if anyone can share the approximate timeline after applying to Target Corp. to hearing something from them. Do any strategy arms of Big 4 or MBB do pre-MBA internships?

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)
