My dept has 2 directors. One is so rude. The other ignores the issue. The previous HR director told me to report any issues because she was building a case (not appropriate info to share, I know). She's since left and there's a new HR director. This rude guy has recently sent me several very rude things through email and I'm debating how to handle it. Is it worth it to talk to HR? I have a question, I got a contract role through a recruiter. Initially the recruiter offered the hourly pay rate which was the minimum in my range. Now I got an offer from the company. Now without me asking her she increased the hourly wage to the maximum range I asked. Which makes me doubt if the company increased it or she knew the rate all along but gave me the lower rate ?

A HR question I really want to understand. ISRS HR quoted a podcast "The not so great resignation" saying 70% regret leaving and many want to go back to old employer. If this really the case the employee likely left due to higher pay at the new company. If they want to boomerang back they will likely come back at even a higher rate than they left the new company for. So getting double raise when they boomeranged. Isn't it unbeneficial, why not just give employee a 7% raise in the first place?

Hey all, staff 2 experienced hire here and been trying to figure out this whole dynamic. In terms of general work experience, I often times feel more qualified than some seniors I work with but at the same time, I’m missing core consulting skills and even mindset at times. I’ve been struggling with how hard I should be on myself. Am I expected to only do the work that’s given me? Should I be beating myself up for the amount of down time I seem to have when the rest of the team is frantic?

Starting at Accenture strategy this week ( manager level). Start date was delayed 4 weeks due to the onboarding team being busy. I have a vacation from 8/10-8/18 which was booked months ago. How do I best handle this to avoid starting off on the wrong foot with my new group?
