An executive of a major Telecom company approached me with an exciting opportunity. All details have been finalized for them to provide me an official offer other than the final compensation. The executive had asked me to provide a salary range that I was looking for which I did, but now wants me to provide my W2 from previous years of employment along with a breakout of this year’s compensation. Looking for some advice on a couple of offers I have.

The first offer is for an Account Executive position at a smaller company with a base of $50k and another $20k in OTE.

The second offer is for a BDR position at a larger and faster growing company with a base of $60k and another $20k in OTE. Also some stock options but they aren’t public yet.

I have 2 YOE as a BDR and think I could succeed in either position. Both have hybrid work set ups. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated! Thanks.

In my offer letter it stated a signing bonus to be paid on the first available payroll after my start date. I’m a newly graduate from a community college. My program of study was Health Information Technician. I passed my RHIT exam a month ago, and I’ve been applying to jobs in state, out of state, and remotely to only receive “sorry you were not selected email.”I don’t have experience and I know that’s the reason I’m not getting selected. I filed my tax with TurboTax. It said my estimated refund is $700. I got a letter from IRS saying I actually owe $400. When I looked into it I realized they didn’t account for my 2021 quarterly estimates that I paid with my ex-wife last year. In our divorce decree we agreed to claim half of the credits each. But I guess for their record it’s all under her name. It’s impossible to reach IRS and also I really want to avoid contacting my ex. What would be the best approach for this?

I spent a year in tax investigations where I believe I was thriving ( I was going to be an assistant manager in July 2023), I had a lot of assistant manager jobs, I even drafted a Code 9 report to HMRC which my manager said was 80% of an actual report, he then added the 20% and submitted it.
After I realised I couldn't maintain all the unpaid overtime I was working I decided to take a turn and go to compliance, so now I work in CT compliance. I feel very surpressed.
