It’s not allowed under FAA regulation. VOIP is banned from flights and I report anyone who tries to do it. Flying is our one last safe space from work!
Since when was flying a safe space from work? People do it all the time
Just tell them you’re on a flight. If you’re important enough, they’ll reschedule. If you’re not, then why are you bending over backwards to dial in?
Please don’t for the sake of others on the flight
*DELTA
Do not do calls on flights, don’t be that person - you’ll get shut down by the staff or the person sitting next to you!
If your question was about functionality. Yes it will work on most flights with good WiFi. If you’re just listening, should be no problem. If you do plan on speaking then yes, you have the aforementioned narc problem.
Don’t. It’s rude
I’ve listened into one, but when I tried to unmute myself to agree with someone, the background noise (just airplane sounds) were apparently crazy loud and the people on the call asked me to mute myself.
Don’t be like that counselor on my flight who’s having performance review discussions for the entire flight
Such a naive question
If had success connecting and listening, but often times my audio doesn’t work so nobody can hear me speaking. That’s a win-win for those on the line, around me on the aircraft, and myself.
