Has anyone been through a situation that you were in a terrible relationship ( stress,anger, fights, swears, physical abuse, ego clashes) and how did you resolve it? Some might have worked on and stayed in the relationship and some might have broken up. I am looking for answers from both sides. How did you stay/work on it and how did you break up and move on? Me and my partner have strong feelings for eachother and are almost inseparable despite going through so much.

Perspective: monogamy is anti-human nature; in this era where each parent could raise a kid independently, marriage tends to be a shackle on many aspects of life. We live once, why does society expect us to live with 1 person for 60+ years? No wonder divorce rates are through the roof!

3 years ago I distanced my long term love and chose my ambition to complete an MS and create something for both of us in hopes to get back to her as a grown independent man. (We are 27, we fell in love when we were 15) I was a no one back in the day but now it’s totally different, i am debt free, financially stable and ready to settle down.

Girlfriend of 3 years cheated on me right before we were supposed to leave the state and move in together. We broke up about 4 months ago. I couldn’t demonize her, so I’m still struggling with processing it and idk what to do. I’ve been looking into therapy, but I can only do online which leaves me hesitant. Has anyone quit their job because of a relationship? I started my job 3 months ago and now my employer wants me to move to NY. Salam. 23M here - all my life I’ve had my back on our faith - never really prayed but had imaan (I guess). After bouts of depression from girl problems (🙄), issues within immediate family, being disappointed expectations I had for myself, etc. I’ve been working on bettering my situation over the years. Faith is the only area where I think I need more guidance. Having trouble relating to friends or family about this. Anyone else been thru something similar? How have you connected back to Islam?
