I have 2 offers, one from JPMC ( LOB IS Consumer and Community Banking) and the other from Wells Fargo. Both are giving similar roles, and exactly same pay. Location is Hyderabad. I tried for revision of pay but it didn't work.
Could anyone help me understand which one is better to join in terms of hikes, technology used and work life balance. I have to join on Tuesday, 16 Aug.
YoE - 16, Tech stack - Java Microservices
JPMorgan Chase Wells Fargo
What will be the hike % for M leval in EAS IPM ?

The only reason you’re able to be acting PL on several cases is because you’ve built rapport and experience at your firm. Once you jump, you lose your entire support base - so low probability youll be able to lead the same in ZS or Huron without blunders. If anything you might get downleveled. You’re experience isn’t much unless you’re coming from MBB
You’re not getting total comp over 200k at Huron unless you’re Director or Senior Director level. And you’re not getting that role with 3-4 YOE IMO.
I have had friends who jumped to LEK from ZS. The general insight they have given me is that ZS levels move faster in expectations than at LEK. You will definitely not come in higher than AC and probably for good reason. By the time you hit C you would be project lead, SME, team lead. I have seen at least one case of a lateral hire where the got put on a PIP because despite their tenure at EY they should have come in as a senior A and not an AC. LEK will beat ZS in terms of total comp but on a per hour basis I’m sure we end up ahead. So just depends on what kind of rhythm you’re looking for. I rarely work past 7pm and have only worked like a couple of weekends (a day only) in the last year or two that I can remember.
Chief
I have lost count of associates who think they are acting as PL in 3 years of their professional experience
Unless you’re top 5% at LEK, you won’t be getting 2 1.5y promos (the 3 year promo to C you’re saying). If you’re as strong a performer as you say, would advise you stay at LEK, we won’t compete salary-wise until P (and it seems like you’ll get promoted there 3 years faster than at ZS at this rate anyways)
If your 3 YOE equals 5 years why stop here? Wait 3 more years and shoot for partner
You’d have to be director level and up to get over 200k at Huron. Don’t think you’d get there with 3YOE.
With three years of experience and running some projects you’d come in as an Experienced Associate. Maybe manager IF you had a critical skill set we needed.
3 YoE from undergrad at ZS will be experienced AC - TC around 150-170
Yeah, not sure where ZS 2 is/what their tenure had been like but TC of 225K is closer to higher end of MBA C level or early M level in HCOL city
Have you considered adjusting lifestyle to fit TC? Seems like it may be the more sure fire bet of the two. Just my thought to solve your problem statement
Welp, at least you considered it. Good luck in the rate race
