Anyone know what the difference in pay is likely to be in TX mid market for a mid/senior Associate compared against market scale big law (thinking like Winstead, Munsch, Gray Reed, maybe Jackson Walker though not sure if that is mid market)? What about hours, expectations, benefits fringe or otherwise, etc.?

What are the typical differences (+ and -) between PM Role in b2b and b2c organisations? Holding an offer from both, with 10L more in b2b and another b2c paying less. Hi comp advice please! my wife is making a pivot into brand management / account exec roles at ad agencies. Glassdoor is kinda helpful for comp estimates but all over the place. For an nyc role (just above entry level, like Brand Manager at BBDO) what’s a reasonable comp range for her to tell HR she’s looking for? Feels like $90-100k? Thanks for your thoughts/examples! So, what are the pros and cons of living in Texas and working in Texas Biglaw?

Do most firms start reporting years in September or January? Prior firm did an August year for counting hours and then another did January (both Amlaw 200). Looking at an Amlaw 100 to lateral in the fall (so trying to anticipate how much of the year I’ll have). I’ll ask what bonus/reporting year but just curious if most follow the same.
