Anyone recently take the March CFP exam? If so, how are you feeling, especially having to wait a month before getting the results?

Took it. Feel like I bombed it. 2 answers for every question. Stressing about result. How about you? Don’t worry about formula page. Seriously had 3 questions on it and they were easy. That will be the least of your concern by November. You will do so many practice questions they will be second nature

This is my second attempt. First time I failed I scored three “lows” and two “highs”. This time around I’m feeling a lot better after walking away from the test center. For my second attempt, I studied non-stop since the beginning of December, averaging about 20 hours/week. Fingers crossed!!!

Taking it in November and all of these formulas are freaking me out!

Thanks WA1. Using Dalton right now. Any pointers? Also, if it makes you feel any better, the two for every question feeling is very common. Everyone who felt that way passed. Good luck!

Dalton is awesome!

I took it in November (the first exam testing the new tax laws) thought I failed for sure. Waited the month and got a "Passed" email. I studied nonstop from Thursday thru Monday and took the test on Tuesday. Even though I passed I feel like I should have taken two more days because I didn't get through all the practice questions. I used Dalton Education.

Actually I took it Monday 11/12/18 so only crammed for four days prior.

My company offered to pay my way through the CFP program, on the contingency that I will pass and also stay with them for 10 years after the fact. Is this normal? It seems unfair to make me pay them back down the road if I decide to take a better opportunity. It’s a small business that is worried I will leave.

In a world of remote consulting work…. How long can the US maintain its high premium over European and, esp. developing market consulting? Both price tag to clients and significantly higher salaries for the people. I imagine may move faster at Big 4, etc. than MBB, but within MBB the huge cost and salary differentials feel… increasingly hard to maintain (even though I think the differential has actually gotten bigger, not smaller in the last two years). Thoughts?

Hi Fishes, I have an interview next week for a Client Partnerships Manager role at a large entertainment company. I've never actually done a role like this. Also, what do you consider the media & marketing process to be? And is QSR mean quick service restaurant. I come from the CPG & sale world. Thanks for any input.
