Yes, I’ve got a 34” ultrawide monitor and love it. I previously had two 20/22” screens, so while my current setup isn’t technically as wide as with my previous screens, it does feel much bigger, and cleaner, simply by not having the screen split right down the middle. 10/10 recommend.
It is curved. At first I was unsure, but I enjoy it now. Basically helps my eyes stay consistently focused when panning across the screen and also makes everything feel equally close, if that makes sense..
The primary use case for curved monitors is gaming since it improves peripheral vision. Downsides are that they’re not as thin, often have restricted ergonomics / range of motion, and typically aren’t capable of portrait orientation.
Apart from the novelty factor, I’d recommend sticking with a high-end 4K panel with good ergonomics if you’re going to use this predominantly for work.
Agree with D1. Have the same monitor, can’t recommend enough.
