Thinking about accepting a software engineering offer for BCG Digital Ventures . can anyone working there tell me about the work culture, learning opportunities, and exit opps . Im also interviewing with Zillow and am deciding wether to wait or take an offer. I’m really intrigued by the idea of building ventures and learning alot on the technical and entrepreneurial sides, but the opportunity to work for a tech unicorn is also very intriguing

I went from contractor to FTE after 1.5 years. No guarantee. Just depends on the business need.
Benefits vary depending on whatever staffing agency you go through.
Would you recommend it?
I haven't worked on a contract for Meta, but as someone who's worked contract positions for FAANG and F100s in the past, I'd say use it for the branding opportunity, and for the judgment-free excuse to leave after a few months if a full-time opportunity that pays much better and has benefits comes along. If you love your contract and they eventually convert you to a full-time employee, then that's great, but don't go into a contract expecting conversion. I made $40/hr at 22 in my first contract fresh out of school, stayed for 6 months, then joined a rival company at 130k/yr + benefits. If I'd stayed at the same company for conversion, maybe I'd have gotten 10 to 15% pay increases each year, but by jumping, I increased my total comp by 60% in 6 months.
Yep. I'm currently FTE 140k + benefits. I'm weighing how much it'll be worth to consider a contract position.
I went from contract to FTE in 10 months. Definitely no guarantee now for a perm role, but a good foot in. Pay is amazing and you can earn overtime. Benefits absolutely sucked compared to FTEs
What have you seen probability wise of contract to FTE?
FYI, others may say it took them X months to get a full time position in the past, but Meta is now on the verge of mass layoffs, so you should assume it will be much more difficult to get a full time offer in the near future.

No guarantees in life.
Depends purely on business need and herbal headcount. I am a current remote CW almost 2 years at Meta and a massive reorg ruined my chance of conversion to a FTE role on my current team. Though applying to other FTE positions has been much easier with a view behind the curtain.
How's life as CW? Do you get regular salary growths?
