I gave interview in Amazon and cleared all the rounds , then went on hold and still on hold due to hiring freeze in that departement. HR does respond and update me when reached out.
Interesting thing which happened here is iam cracking each every product based interviews now after my tough preparation for Amazon and getting higher packages than what Amazon would give. So whatever happens , happens for good. Cheers Amazon
Don't be sad that you couldn't get through a FAANG 🤙

No, they’re not. There’s no b case cracking within tech consulting segment exception made if you are a dev.
Most interviews are behavioral ones carried by sales and HR folks.
That’s why most strategy consultants do not consider tech consulting as real consulting.
I even corrected b cases´ conclusion live for a digital transformation strategy boutique case cracking one time… the partner and co founder missed a spot that was more than important.
At a well-know bigger firm, I was MECE and my interviewer (he basically listed costs savings by value chain domain like marketing instead of proceeding by cost nature first so to say direct and indirect costs) wasn’t MECE because MECE means:
1- mutually exclusive, so 1≠1 and never 1=n where n>1.
2- collectively exhaustive, so n=1 belongs to N=sigma(n) and N is the sum of all n.
Granularity is very important while being MECE, too gross and it’s broken (not ME), to fine and it’s broken too (not CE).
Conversely, I would have a difficult time bombing the Bain casing material I downloaded on mconsultingprep. Maybe with preparation but without it, I didn’t find my performance to be stellar in any fashion.
And I objectively consider myself being a decent case cracker.
I was already using 7S before graduating.
What I find smart is not using one but several frameworks coherently and fit to solve a given problem. At a higher level, smarter would mean to be able to develop an entirely new framework ex nihilo.

Usually you have no bcase cracking in tech consulting or it’s so trivial it’s not anywhere near cracking a case.
Wdym tech consulting at MBB? Like digital practice?
