Dallas to Boston? I was delayed 8 weeks in a row on that flight for American. The worst!
This! Yes, dfw to BOS always a shit show
You can look up flight stats and choose routes that are often on time
✋🏼 UA BOS->EWR currently sitting on the runway delayed af for the 8th week this year that’s not weather related.
Yeah that’s the other thing, none of my flights have had bad weather in either arrival/departure city
The east coast is a nightmare to fly out of-so many airports in a very small area (Boston, 3 NYC airports plus white plains and Long Island, Philly, and three DC/VA/MD) so the airspace gets backed up very easily if anything goes wrong
Into/out of an area with all those airports
It’s AA. Everything is always delayed. I’m in dfw now and literally all I see are red delayed signs
The FAA has frequent flow control and ground delay programs into NY area airport and sometimes DC and Boston. Wrecks havoc on the system. Airlines also tend to prioritize mainline aircraft over regional jets when assigning slots and faced with delaying some flights (both because on time performance of their regional carriers’ flights isn’t yet included in the mainline carrier’s on time performance and because fewer passengers are inconvenienced).
Flights to be my route's aircraft (while my original inbound aircraft was on time but went to another route). Seems like they use my route as a catch all so other flights aren’t delayed
Dallas has given me more grief than any other airport. 4-5 hr delays every time I am flown out of the DFW airport.
NYC has been bad this year. Haven't had an on time arrival on Thursday since December. Anyone who says weather has been good in NYC is lying. Strong winds count as bad weather btw and has probably accounting for about the delays I've had
I flew in and out of SFO with AA. The worse.
You guys jinxed me. Maintenance hopped on board and now we’re delayed indefinitely
Time To get drunk in admirals club
I’ve got a theory that AA has fewer excess aircraft around because flight activity has upticked so much the last few years.....btw 2+ hours delayed tonight
It’s because US Air has ruined American.
