Are starting salaries for the same jobs different by school? Like for example would MBB/FAANG pay more for a HBS grad than a Booth grad? Or is it just that the HBS grad has better chances at landing the position, but the pay is the same?

Trying to get into security consulting. 3YOE doing implementation / migration consulting and got security +. Cyber risk is probably the easiest transition but thinking about trying to go more technical to set myself up better down the road or maybe even doing sales engineering as another entry point. So relieved to get MIT & Kellogg Admits today after getting rejected with interview at Booth, and rejected without interview at Wharton.

Waitlisted at Yale too.. Unpredictable.. Now just hoping there's some money in the admits :)
